Sign our open letter to Minister Plibersek, calling on her to improve the Swift Parrot national recovery plan.

The latest science shows how dire the situation is for these amazing Swift Parrots. If we continue with business as usual, it is expected there will be fewer than 100 Swift Parrots by the end of the decade.

Luckily, we know what is causing their decline: habitat destruction! We also know how to fix the threat: a strong National Recovery Plan that prevents the clearing of the forests where Swift Parrots live, feed, breed and raise their young.

Sadly, we fear that the new National Recovery Plan, announced by the Government last month, is not strong enough to protect these forests that are critical to not only the recovery of Swift Parrots but their survival.

Help get Swifties a recovery plan that works!

Sign our Open Letter to Minister Plibersek, asking her to work with the Environment Department to improve the recovery plan!
